DIY Repurpose Garden Watering System

Posted by Tiffany on May 15, 2013 at 4:35 PM

My MIL Told about this neat idea, so I thought i would post it and share with you guys. Its a garden watering system made out of 4L milk jugs. Its pretty easy, so here is my little picture tutorial i guess we will call it =)

First: poke hole around the sides of the jug, I just random holes. Probably wouldn't want to do to many so all the water comes pouring out all at once.

Second: Cut the top off for easy refilling. I was also thinking you can keep it with the bottom on and use it like those bulb plant watering things

Third: Dig a nice whole. Not sure how deep it was deep enough so it buries the wholes.

Fourth: Put the jug in and cover around it with dirt and I put a few rocks inside so I know it stayed put. Then fill it with water and it will slowly water your garden continuously. Then just keep it filled.
